Mandaikadu Kodai or Koda is the most important festival
observed at the famous Mandaikadu
Bhagavathi Amman
Temple in Kannyakumari
District in Tamil Nadu. Mandaikadu Kodai 2015 date is March 10. The festival is
observed on the last Tuesday of Maasi month as per traditional Tamil Hindu
calendar.
The festival starts 10 days before the last Tuesday in Maasi
Month.
The main ritual involves the taking of the deity worshipped
around the temple.
Thousands of devotees from Tamil Nadu and Kerala attend this
important ceremony.
